Scott Zeller's is the guiding light and original craftsman behind the company - with experience stretching over three decades as a designer and creator of custom furniture and as an accomplished antique restorer.

Shortly after completing his apprenticeship, Zeller's won the Australian national title for cabinet making and earned the right to compete against the rest of the world in the International Skill Olympics in Taipei, Taiwan in 1993.

Zeller's ranked 6^th in the world and received a Diploma of Excellence. He established Zeller's around this time.

Zeller's has travelled the world perfecting his skills. He was awarded the Mother of Pearl Scholarship and The Queens Trust for Young Australians scholarship which sent him on an educational trip around the world to learn from experienced craftsmen, including working in Florence with some of Italy's most accomplished antique restorers.

Zeller's continues his tradition of excellence by nurturing up-and-coming apprentices. Zeller's apprentice Charles Smith went on to rank 8th in the world at the Skills Olympics in 1997 and Adrian Lywood won the regional and national competitions in 2003 to compete in St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Scott Zeller's works closely with the Australian World Skills Foundation acting as valued member, judge and competition project designer.

Zeller's prides itself on high quality and design. We work many different design periods, we can work with the client direct or with your architect or designer if required. We can make your modern furniture as well as period pieces.

We use different species of timber and veneers, including the exotic burl and flame veneers and we also can incorporate other finishes including glass, steel or even shagreen. Many different finishes are available including, shellac, lacquer, oil and wax.
